AutoMate Label Solutions Planning Major Houston Expansion

AutoMate Label Solutions is making a major commitment to the Houston market, investing in a new facility and office space on Houston’s northwest side. The new facility will expand on the acquisition of Labels Today in 2024 and allow a fourfold increase in production and warehouse space, along with office space for a growing staff.

Set for occupancy late this summer, the Houston plant will compliment AutoMate’s facility in Burlington, NC, expanding AutoMate’s ability to service the Gulf Coast and Texas markets. “We believe the Houston market is underserved in production capacity for prime labels and operational labels, and this new facility allows us to invest in the types of sophisticated printing equipment customers in this region expect,” according to Stephen Schwarz, COO of AutoMate.

Tony Tamburrano, SVP of Sales, added “with deep roots in Houston already, AutoMate’s expansion further positions us to strengthen customer relationships,
earn new market opportunities, and ultimately drive substantial revenue growth in the region.”

Investment in staff has already begun, with the hiring of Gregory Reese as Account Manager for the Gulf Coast region. “I’m happy to be working at a family-owned firm where quality and service is a priority,” said Reese. Additional openings for customer service and production roles will be filled over the next few months.
